I really cannot believe this, after trying to induce labor for 32 hours (as you might have read in other thread), I finally got into early labor - and then my baby turned breech and we had to stop the induction!!!!

Apparently one of the reasons labor had not been starting effectively is that I have excess amniotic fluid so she is in an "unstable lie." So they said they can either do a c/s tonight, or I can wait until tomorrow when this doc who is supposed to be amazing with versions will try to turn her back. Everyone tells me that if anyone can flip a baby at 40+2, it's this guy. But they will then have to push her into my pelvis and put a needle into my bag of waters to drain some off so she can't turn breech again.
We opted for this, but are pretty scared because they said they will be watching me very closely tonight and it could become an emergency - like if my water were to break tonight, her feet could start coming out or the cord could drop out and prolapse. So needless to say, I am really worried - but praying that this doc will be able to turn her tomorrow and I can still deliver vaginally...
Thanks mamas for all your prayers and thoughts. Teffer, if you're reading this, could you please post my prayer request in the Catholic mamas thread - I have to go - thank you
