I picked up a gender neutral sweater in 6m and a little hat in 3-6m. It is so weird for me to think about a summer baby because both of my girls had to be bundled up all the time for fall and winter. I have plenty of t shirts and onesies to put this one in and the spring clothes from my dds should work for fall for this baby. I just need a King size bed and a beco and I will be set.

I had to run into Babies R Us a few weeks ago to get a baby shower present and I saw an adorable long sleeve onesie that was made of organic cotton and covered with little peace signs. It was TOO adorable and I had to buy it.

DH and I were shooting for a new baby to arrive between May and July - our DD is a May baby and DS is a July baby and I saved EVERYTHING, so no matter which gender we have, I have more than enough seasonal clothes. We still have all our other baby gear.

I'm looking forward to buying a new baby carrier (probably a Wrapsody wrap) and a new diaper bag! I LOVE getting a new, snazzy diaper bag. My first was so boring and utilitarian so since I didn't need to buy any new gear for the second, I splurged on a bag. I plan on doing it this time, too! I might buy cloth diapers, I can't decide if I want to try that route or not. I've always used disposables, but I might make the change since we'll be in our own house by then, with our own washer and dryer...

Haven't, and won't, for a while.

Will definitely hit garage sales this summer, though. DD was an October baby so will need some NB stuff in tiny sizes. We plan to find out what the baby is, and if it's a boy, we'll likely inherit a bunch from friends, but will probably buy a few things, especially deals at garage sales since I imagine this will be our last summer of family garage-saleing for a while. Just can't imagine doing it with 2 kids. With DD, I really stocked up and even got up to 4T sizes which was impulsive but wonderful in retrospect.

I bought some really nice swaddle clothes of muslim with pretty designs on them. I'm waiting to find out what we are going to have though to do any more shopping. If we are going to have a girl, I will need to buy a lot. If the baby is a boy, I won't need to buy anything. I also need figure out what diapers I will use for the baby and get some. I'm trying out prefolds on Sam now to see if I like them.

I haven't bought anything yet. This is my first, so I'm going to need everything. We are also pretty broke, so I really just want to keep it to the basics. The funny thing is, the one thing I really want to buy is a pair of baby saddle shoes. I know, baby shoes are so unnecessary, but dh and I are swing dancers, it's how we met and a large part of how we got to know each other. Our dancing shoes are matching black/white saddle style and a few days before I found out I was pregnant, I was looking at our shoes sitting next to each other and thought it would make an adorable pregnancy announcement to take a picture of his big shoes, my smaller ones, and itty bitty baby ones, with a line about how we're expecting a new pair of dancing feet. The problem is the only ones I can find are $30-$40. For baby shoes! That don't even get walked on! Sigh...if anyone sees any cheap somewhere send me a line.

oh man if you didnt buy anything BEFORE you were actually pregnant you are doing good as far as im concerned. we had a little stash of those outfits that were just to cute to pass up a few months before the pregnancy. havent bought anything since i got pregnant though, oddly.

Awww! My dh just called because he was at a kids consignment store, and he saw a really good deal on an exersaucer type thing. He wanted to know if he could buy it because he thinks the baby will really like it! He was totally against that kind of thing with my ds because they are so big, but I guess he's coming around.

I love that he's the first to make a new baby purchase!

I pulled a few outfits from stock and some Earth Mama Angel Baby stuff for me LOL. Other than that? nothing yet.. I will probably wait until we find out the sex and then go nuts. We have pretty much all of the gear we will need for the first few months - although I will need to buy a bassinet piece and rocker piece for our stroller system (We had the Orbit for DS and since DS is in the toddler carseat for it, we will use the infant carseat for new baby). I never got the bassinet or rocker for DS so I will get it this time.

I'm loving the Earth Mama Angel Baby stuff. The Earth Mama Body Butter is awesome. I cannot wait to find out the sex though and go shopping . I'd love to wait until the birth, but I can't do it. I'm a control freak and need to plan plan plan.

Not yet, but I'm taking the kids down to visit grandma in Feb. She's using it as the excuse to buy our new baby present. . A phil and ted's stroller with the double seat.

That will be the first purchase. And one of the few.

I have no itch to shop with this pregnancy so far. I tried to buy a lot of gender neutral things with DD that would work if we had a boy next, so I already feel pretty prepared. I need more newborn cloth (or might do a diaper service for the first couple of months - haven't decided). I want a new sling and an electric breast pump (my hand pump just didn't cut it with DD).

I mainly just need to make a few furniture purchases. The new baby's room is currently my office (although it will sleep with me for quite awhile, I like to get the room set up), and I will need to buy a creative storage solution to move my office into DH's office. If I have another girl I will give her DD's current furniture and buy a new bed and dresser for DD.

Now that I've hit the 2nd trimester I feel safer buying a few things.
I'm big into baby carriers and everyone is trying to raise xmas money so they are going for super cheap at TBW. I've been looking for a few specific things and got lucky this week. I bought 3 carriers just today and 2 a few days ago. All for less than $100! Amazing! I offered just $5-$10 less than what they were asking and they all accepted so these are my Christmas presents to myself and baby

Since I already have about 4 pouches and 3 mei tais my DH just rolls his eyes and doesn't get the obsession

I'm having serious feelings this is a boy and have been tempted to pick up a few boy things I saw on sale at Target but I've resisted so far!

We absolutely LOVE our Phil & Teds stroller with doubles kit - worth every penny!!!

I bought a flannel swaddler off of craigslist for 5 bucks and its brand new! I've also gotten DH the organic hemp hotsling and myself a petunia pickle bottom diaper bag all from ebay. The other day I was in Macy's and finally bought my first baby outfit. Its a white gown w/ polkadots and embroidered ducks at the bottom, w/ matching booties, mittens, and a hat that says "just ducky".

It was adorable and dh loves it....for now we keep it hangning in our bedroom to look at every day.

I bought a couple of XS diapers and covers when I was also buying some new dipes for DS so that I could get up to the free shipping total. I probably won't buy anything else until we find out the gender.

I have boughten a couple of things here is what I have bought:

*papasan swing off ebay brand new for $75 and it is the new model for this year, I was really excited about it
*a couple of nightgowns in greens and yellows from carters

Things I want to get

*cloth diapers ( didn't use them with ds)
*a bouncer
*a couple of slings

Thats it for me!!!

Kissaluvs opened its outlet store over Thanksgiving weekend and guaranteed to fill all orders, so I just had to get a dozen size 0s. It was so precious to hold those little newborn diapers again.

When I was pregnant with Laynie, I was 6 weeks along and I wanted to buy a baby book so badly. So, I bought and adorable neutral one with a giraffe on the cover and started to fill it out. I didn't want to miss the chance to fill out my feelings... So, now that I know about this baby, I am searching for a new baby book. One that I will love and is gender neutral.

Before I was pg, I wanted to buy every thing I saw. I did buy about 12 nb diapers on super sale. But now, i really want to wait and see if it's a boy or a girl. If it's a boy, I don't need to buy anything, if it's a girl...well, that's a different story!
