Question though, how big an envelope should we send? Won't it get awkward if we stuff them with beads??

If you are not in the states and you want, once I get them all in, you could send me paypal for the amount of postage.

If I am not mistaken when I did it last fall I sent one of the smaller bubble envelopes folded in half in side another bubble envelope with my beads.

I have one question, cyrusmama...I guess it really doesn't matter, but I'm wondering what you buy. Do you get x number of the SAME bead, or do you mix it up? Like I say, it probably doesn't matter...just curious what you did before.

oops, should have made that clear i guess....blame it on preggo brain. Yeah, last time I bought x number of the same bead. I think it would be cool to post pics after we get them too if people are able. Kinda cool to see what everyone's looks like and how they differ based on who we are but still all having the same beads.

Last time we tried to set a rough size for them too, like between 9- 14mm. Usually the beads (at least those at Hobby Lobby and Michael's that I have noticed) have the size printed on their packaging. But, it really doesn't matter to me if we want to do that or just say whatever you want to find.

I'm in! I organized one in the Feb 2007 DDC and I loved seeing everyone's choices! I didn't string mine but had a little silver tray of candles I lit during labor and scattered the beads around them. It was so pretty!

Where is the Swaps Forum? Is that the Trading Post? Do you have to pay to participate in the Trading Post? If so, maybe a Yahoo Group would be better.

I'm concerned about the new mamas...swap rules state that
"Access to the board is restricted to members who have been registered for 6 months and have at least 150 posts."

Do we have new mamas who haven't been members that long? Who may have joined just because they were pregnant?
