I'm looking at giving DD a couple of books for giftmas. She's not quite two. We want board books and cloth books only. Any books you love?

We've had lots of board books from that age range that stood the test of time. In other words, we read them over and over for years and still do. Some we bought multiple times over those years.

I've listed many of our favorites. I tried to star the very, very favorites of those! But I put amazon links so you can look inside the book and/or look at reviews to decide. I also think it's nice to check out potential books from the library. In my experience we loved the ones that were going to "endure" from almost the first read. If I could only pick four maybe Going on a Bear Hunt, Wocket in the Pocket, Mother Goose, Blue Hat Green Hat.

First 100 Animals is DS's absolute favorite book right now. He loves to look at all the animal pictures.

I agree with Sandra Boynton. DS's favorite is Moo Baa La La La.

My kids loved Baby Faces - a generic board book with pictures of babies. Both kids were fascinated by it.
