Crampy Uterus?

Hi! I am 5 weeks 1 day and I am feeling crampy. It is possible that I just have a very sensitive uterus because I also did feel my implantation, and the cramps are not rhythymic, but I am curious if anyone else has experienced this? This is my second child.

I am still nursing but the cramps don't seem correlated. They are more like an occassional achyness than anything contractiony.

i've been having very light and intermittent cramping since implantation. i might notice it a couple of times a day. i'm pretty sure it's normal, no reason to worry. i also had moderate cramps for 2 days solid during implantation.

I had lots of uterine cramping from 4 dpo until I was 15 weeks pregnant with DS. None this time around though.

I'm 5 weeks 3 days and I've had some mild cramping too. It seems like this is normal for some women so I'm not too worried about it.

I've had cramping off and on too, and I think it is totally normal.

It's normal. Every time I get pregnant, I feel like I over-did the ab exercises.

I always get crampy around 4-5wks...almost like AF is trying to come--but, she doesn't of course.

I have been having a lot of cramping this time around.. It comes and goes.

Yup cramping here too. From what I've read, it's completely normal. After all, our uterus is expanding.

Cramping this time, just like last time. I think it's normal. Just makin' room!

Sounds more like stretching, growing, or ligament pain for you if it's sort of a constant ache. More common in moms who've already had a baby, too. I wouldn't worry about it in the absence of any other ominous signs.

Thanks! I feel so much better!

I'm so glad you posted this because I have been feeling exactly the same thing as you describe. I'm 4 weeks 5 days and nursing as well. I think I just tend to get super paranoid when I'm pregnant so it helps to have reassurance from people experiencing the same thing.
