Got my period back yesterday 16 months so not too bad! I have the keeper. got it in no trouble, can take it out no trouble, cut off the stem but I can;t seem to get it high enough so it bugs me. Plus I train horses so that needs to be up in there Do I need a silicone one or can I get this higher with practice? thanks

As far as I'm aware they are meant to sit low and seal things. I found it really noticeable in the beginning that it was low, but now don't notice. Also, it may be a case of your pelvic floor muscles needing some tightening which should make it rise higher as well.

Here's all you will ever need to know about cups:

I had my first pp cycle earlier this month (37 months!) and I used a cup for the first time. I found that my cervix got higher after day 2, making it much more comfortable.

Well I got it higher once yesterday but it didn't open. my trouble is I can't get it high enough before i lose my grip and it pops open. How to hold it longer so I can get it higher? the 7 fold helped but still not high enough....

It's not suppose to be high, it's suppose to be just on the inside there. No higher. So it's part of the point that it unfolds at once, bc then it's in where it's supposed to be. I adjust it by squeezing the bottom a bit and twirling it a little when it's in there.

well the bottom sticks out and hurts me so I can't imagine that's right. and once it is in there and suctioned it can not be pushed higher

Once it's in and suctioned, place your finger on the bottom of the cup, and pushing gently do a kegel. That should help it slide up a bit. If that's not far enough for you, keep your finger in place, holding it there, release the kegel and do another. Repeat until you have it in the right place for you.

You may need to get the cup wet before inserting it. I can't insert a dry cup and get it in the right place. I just rinse it with water, give it a shake, fold and insert.

You should not be able to feel it spreading your labia, but it should be lower than a tampon. It took a couple tries for me to find the right spot, but now that I know where it is, I can get it there each time with little trouble.

Thank you! This is helpful. I used it all night with ease and I can wear it, just not when I ride I will keep working on it.
