He was born via c-section Monday 11/24 at 8:05 pm. My labor never really began except for some prodromal back towards 37 weeks, and at my biophysical profile Monday I had extremly low fluid and a baby that measured at 10 lbs 6 oz. I wasn't convinced of the size, but the low fluid was enough for me to know that it was time for him to come out. Since my cervix was unfavorable and I had absolutely no contractions they would not induce and I consented to the c-section. I was very upset at the time, but I know it is best since he probably would not have tolerated labor well or ever descended as he had his cord wrapped around his neck and then around his body and under his arm like carrying a purse, so he was truly all wrapped up.
He is a great baby, and a pretty good nurser. He has a tiny mouth and so that has been our biggest battle, but otherwise he is a
:happy little man. My 3 year old just loves him and we are quickly adjusting to being a 4 member household. Congratulations to all of the rest of you that had your babies this week, it seems to have been a busy one.
