Shop Canadian!

Thread Starter
Anyone else sick and tired of shopping online from US stores, paying inflated prices, shipping and duties headaches and want to support Canadian businesses?

I thought I'd start a thread where we can share our Canadian online shopping sources.

I'll go first with some toy and baby stuff companies but feel free to post any great Canadian sites.

For Baby carriers, cloth dipes, etc: Tadpoles & Butterflies
For great toys (and free shipping over $65): Ape2Zebra
For more toys: Family Playroom

Keep 'em coming!

I just got thinking while I nursed the baby down.

On Etsy, "Beneath the Rowan Tree" and "Twinkle Of my Eye" are both located in Canada.

Also there is the Cape Breton Baby Company for Diapers
http://www.capebretonbaby.com/shop/

And www.milkface.com for wraps and carriers and lots of other stuff.

I've ordered cloth diaper supplies from this company, I especially like the Bummi diaper covers and the prefolds. A lot of my friends use Shaklee cleaning products and love them, I'm thinking I'll give the laundry stuff a try in the New Year too.

ETA: This website is no longer working.

i get an online newsletter called babyvibe http://www.babyvibe.ca/home.cfm and there's lots of shopping ideas in there, i think it's mostly for the greater vancouver area, but today there was a link for this store which looks pretty cool
http://www.applausetoystore.com/stor...ts/default.asp

the shipping seems reasonable, 14 bucks for 76$ to $100 worth of stuff.

looks like they are in muskoka.

huh. i grew up there, and never knew about this store, must be new!
