That was cute, but am I the only one who didn't think that some of those were weird at all? Knitted carrots? I just did that a few days ago! I just bought a pattern off etsy for a knitted light saber. Ds says he needs plastic light sabers for the day and a knitted light saber for night time.

Actually the Princes Leia hat reminds me of the costume I made last year...only I made mine out of brown pantyhose and a stocking hat. And I actually printed out that pattern for TP last spring. I thought it would be hilarious to put that in the bathroom if we switched to family cloth. But I haven't made it yet.

Here are a couple more crazy projects that my sister sent to me.

Also, a co-worker told me that knitted thong swimsuits are all the rage in Brazil...he just got back from a vacation there.

I think it would be a great baby toy.

Here is her blog: http://mochimochiland.com/weblog/200...ern-in-knitty/ filled with lots of other strange and fun patterns.

The homeschooler in me loves the digestive system, and the snake eating the mouse.

I'm gonna knit up that Princess Lea hat for DD (and me). That is too cool!

BTW, DS loves, loves, loves looking at the insides of creatures. At the animal hospital, they had a cross-section of a deceased animal on display. He was engrossed for a long while (while I stood far enough away feeling uke

No, you aren't the only one. I personally LOVE the knitted womb, and I have a friend I would have made it for if she hadn't been so heart broken over her hysterectomy (after 2 years of trying to get pregnant! )

I think this was just put together by jealous Muggles. Haters!
