I didn't feed my mw! Never even occurred to me, actually!
This time, I'm a little more on top of things, so maybe I will Thankfully, my mw is veg, just like us, and we have similar food tastes. I would never order a pizza for her, for instance!

The day DD #2 was born I was nesting intensely. I was downstairs in my unfinished basement vacuuming concrete and cobwebs, organizing my laundry room (because the MW might need to do laundry and it was the one room I hadn't gotten to). Then I cleaned my entire kitchen (minus the fridge) so I could host Thanksgiving dinner (I hosted, NOT cooked!). As the last guests (my parents) were pulling away from the curb my water broke. Then I decided I must clean the bathroom and it's a darn good thing I did. Not less than 6 hours later our DD was born in the tub!

With our first DD (hospital birth) I didn't nest at all. In fact two weeks after her birth we moved.

At nearly 16 weeks, I'm nesting inside my head...just having trouble finding the time or energy to act on it! In my first pregnancy, I can't remember when it started, but at 7 months I was moving around large heavy furniture, rearranging rooms, by myself when DH was out of town. Looking back I can hardly believe the stuff I moved - superhuman strength or something.

I can't believe I haven't triggered labor, yet, actually. I've been painting (zero VOC paint) and redecorating this entire pregnancy - of course, I slowed down after 30 weeks, but I was still on a ladder, painting the kitchen ceiling at 35 weeks. I promised myself no more ladders after 36 weeks, but I keep looking at the ceiling in my hallway and my bathroom ..............

Tomorrow, I'm meeting with a tile-store to discuss retiling my kitchen & bathroom. I'm 38 weeks now. I haven't decided if we'll go through with it now, or wait til after the baby. I have this fear that they'll get started, then I won't have anyplace to have the baby! Of course, my second fear is that it will be messy, and I won't want them doing it when I have a newborn. Decisions, decisions! DD2 was born at 42w5d, so I will kick myself if I wait too much longer to do the floors, and then the baby isn't actually born for 2 more weeks!

I haven't had any BH at all, and I have no reason to think labor is coming soon.

I came to that conclusion when I was 39 weeks pregnant and scrubbing my floors on my hands and knees with a sponge and a toothbrush. Then baby#3 arrived and my house has never been the same. I never had a cleaning urge with my other two kids born in the hospital.

I had one hospital birth and one homebirth and didn't nest with either. My house was a disaster for both. I guess I'm just not a nester

I would have fed my birth team, but honestly, they were only at my house for a few hours. My midwife even talked about how awesome I was, that she didn't have to cancel any appointments for that day.

Oh, thank you! I knew I should have planned to have more food on hand, but just couldn't get my mind around it, what with working full time, first birth, twins, etc. Was hoping she'd be more flexible!
