Where outside Philly are you? Don't suppose you're anywhere near Atlantic Co., NJ? I have a bunch of straights that you could have. They're mostly long, and I don't like long needles. I also have a few prs of Aeros that my mom gave me that you could try out.

ThinkofWinter: I WISH! no, I am in Delaware County, pA, like 5 min outside of w.philly...

But thank you so much for the offer, that is so nice of you...I wish I knew more people IRL to let me try some of theirs like that...

What do you think of those brands, though? The pattern recommends using Addi Turbo circ, but then I heard those are harder to handle for beginners because they are so slippery and I could lose stitches...which I already do on my bamboo needles .

So, what do you guys think?

I haven't tried most of them. I like my Addis, and bamboo. I'm not a fan of plastic, but if your sts are sliding off of bamboo, you may like it. Maybe buy a couple of pairs and try them out before buying a whole lot of them.
