My DD is almost 9 months old and starting to teeth pretty good. She really isn't in much pain but her poo is awful! It is literally taking her skin off. I change her as soon as she goes but I am not fast enough. Her poor little booty is scalding red and in spots bleeding. I am dealing with this by changing her as soon as she goes, baking soda & water rinse to neutralize the acid, naked booty time, calendula cream and then rosebud save over it to make a barrier. As of now, DD isn't in any pain but I fear that if it gets any worse she will really be hurting. Also, we cloth diaper so I am a bit worried about the acid building up in the diaper. My mom said that she had the same issues with me when I was teething and the diaper service had to treat them to neutralize the pH. Any ideas or suggestions? I feel so bad for my little girl.
