C'smom- How are you tolerating the stims?

Hi everyone! I've been staying away trying not to think about anything while we were in our 2ww. This cycle I got OHSS again, and have 2 large cysts one filled with blood. I am praying that I get my BFP tomorrow, or else it's back on bcp next month for the cysts. It seems my pattern is cycle one month cysts, and bcp's the next.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season, and we all get what we have wished for!

wtg & bellybean I feel for you!! my DH wasn't able to perform ONE day during my fertile time!! Talk about drama!! I can't imagine if I had to deal w/ that all the time!

feeling a little bit better tonight. I am @ work, which distracts me to a certain extent. My back and stomach are cramping really bad. I might POAS on friday (even though I am very very doubtful it will be positive) just b/c if I am pg I want to be able to tell my mom in person. (she lives 4 hours away and I don't get ot visit much anymore.)

WTG - I remember the month after my lap in 2002 (it was December) and the first month we could try, DH locked himself in the bonus room for the night. He was sooooo scared. All that time before we had been trying and then he just couldn't. I was PISSED! The next month went off without a hitch and we got DS that month January 2003. I would be a little miffed, sorry, two days in a row should be okay for him. Our MD said we had to dtd days 9-13, then eod days 14-22.

It is funny how dtd just becomes a chore. My months of trying in betweens HSGs and clomid cycles were kinda hard. I mean it got to the point that I wanted spontaneous not constantly scheduled.

I'm doing well on the stims. Of course, they don't really tell you what you see on the ultrasound, but I know we are looking for "bubbles" I call them (eggs) and on my left there were maybe 3 and that might be generous, so I got worried, then she switched to my right and tons of "bubbles". At least 7. I am hoping we are more successful this time at retrieval. Last retrieval was only 5, 3 fertilized and transferred, then two took and then lost both. I am actually on lower dose stim that last time and think I will have loads of drug left over. I have 3600 units in fridge from the new stuff. Might only use half.

I'm back. Thanks for all the support. This has gone on so long for me that each month I kind of retreat for a few days and then resurface with the new plan.
Day 3 u/s today. I do have one cyst on R that is 22mm but we are still going forth with the cycle, was told that was within okay range. A relief though I wonder how I'll respond with it there. Begin 50 iu follistim tonight.
Having a lot of anger and sadness throughout these past days. I just need to know so badly that eventually it will work. Seeing my sister run out of options has had a very difficult effect for me. One day at a time. Trying to keep myself as balanced as possible, but I admit it's hard to gear up for a new cycle at this stage.
Will catch up more personally with everyone a bit later.

Well, saw re today, good news is cyst is gone. Looks like we are back in the game. Started clomid tonight and waiting to ovulate and begin iui #3. Hoping this is the one, if not we are heading to ivf world. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

AFM: PMS symptoms are starting to appear. Guess this wasn't our month. We may be taking December off because of the holidays. We are going to wait and see how our days work out.

I am thinking about asking the RE about taking Clomid or something to give us more targets. Even though I ovulate very regulary. What do you ladies think??

Nummies- thanks. I also ovulate very regularly but my re didn't even want to do iui without the clomid, he says my chances would be higher. I would def ask him to consider it.

Thanks momtoalexis. Do you have ultrasounds and bloodwork while on the Clomid? We are trying to keep costs down and I am hoping to just take the Clomid without other monitoring. Not sure if my RE will go for that one.

Hi everyone, so I am 5 dpiui...already getting my hopes up, even when I know I shouldn't.

Charting my temperatures always disturbs my sleep, but I just have to KNOW what is happening! Today I woke up a half hour early and took my temperature and it was way down. I use tcoyf software and even after it adjusted for getting up earlier it was still .4 lower than yesterday. I have never had a temperature dip like this in the last 8 months of charting. Normally my temperatures stay fairly constant and then start falling right before AF comes.

I know it is really early to think it is an implantation dip, especially since they say those happen at 7-10 dpo, but I am praying and hoping it is. On the other hand it could just be because I didn't sleep well last night. I am totally going crazy here and I have 7 more days to wait before testing!!! The 2ww is unbearable!

Nummies, If it is your first cycle on Clomid, I would monitor. Like you, I chose not to (talked into by my RE coincidentally) for $$ reasons and his reasoning that it did not make the cycle any more likely to end in preg. Well, I overstimmed, developed terrible cysts that took a really long time to go away and my periods were messed up for like 6 mths. It totally sucked. I would at least get an u/s once just to see how it's going. I read about the rare few who had trouble like that with clomid and never thought it would happen to me, then I ate my words. Not to scare you, but now I always advocate to do at least some monitoring, maybe you can find a happy medium. Course plenty folks don't. It also seems though the timing is better when you have the trigger shot (and the hcg in your system period) than using the opk timing method.

AFM, I am having a bear of a time on the stims the second time around. My abs are throbbing, I think I burst a capillary on the first shot and there is a dark purple incredible painful bruise on my belly about 2 in in diameter. It hurts to bend over, etc. And I'm feeling that right cyst. Ugh. I told dh nothing social please for the next few days. Acupuncture today. U/S on Monday. Must keep chin up.

POETGIRL-Sorry your feeling ucky. What we go through no one but all of us could understand. I thought the holidays would be a happy time but it feels sadder knowing this is our 2nd x-mas since trying and still no pregnancy, Dh was being wonderful but I think he's had enough too and things around here aren't the same. I'm already sweating like crazy with the Clomid and can't sllep, but I will do anything to make it work. Hope your feeling better soon. Hugs to you.

Momtoalexis, I feel the same way as DH and I are also approaching our 2nd Christmas since TTC. My best friend just had her baby on the 4th and started trying long after we did. I kept telling myself I'd at least get pregnant by the time she gave birth. Didn't happen.

My DH seems just fine and is being way too logical. He doesn't understand why I'm so upset about finding out my lining is thin and says to wait and see if it was because of the Clomid or not before I get my panties all in a knot (he didn't use those words or he'd not be in the house anymore). But it's so hard not to get upset. I know I obsess, but I can't help it.
