Heh, I said the same thing up til October. Now it's more like "just let June come FAST so this misery can end happily!" I'm not a happy glowy pregnant though. The only glow coming off of me is the pressure rash and sweat from excessive vomitting. Which is WAY more than you wanted to know!

After we're moved, if we like the new place, I'm having a damn party. And you're all going to come, whether you want to or not We'll celebrate release from tyranny!

Jessie-

There are alot of houses for sale and rent near me. So you want me to look?

I am so sorry you are having a rough time. I had to take the suppositories to stop the getting sick. I couldn't keep anything down. I hope you feel better soon.

The mw suggested Zofran or Phenergan suppositories. She said the Phenergan would make me sleepy though. Since the Reglan makes me sleepy the P. would probably knock me down! I want to try Zofran, need to make an appt. with her.

I would LOVE for you to look for a rental for me, if you have time! We need to stay under $1000 per month and it has to be 3 or more bedrooms, but otherwise we have no real requirements. Preferably a large fence yard so I can turn the monsters loose outdoors. Thank you so much for looking! {That goes for anyone who wants to scope around their 'hood for me!! I would appreciate it so very, very much!}

Calling around to check on listings with a house full of kids and a stomach which rolls when I open my mouth is no fun. I usually love looking at house listings, but I'm so exhausted and overwhelmed right now that the fun is sucked out.

My friend is staying with me and she's been on here for quite a while but she's had some really rough hits lately and we are looking for a place for her to rent... So if anyone see's anything interesting please let me know! She needs a 2 or more bedroom and it needs to have a place for the kids to play and be flexible with credit issues- she's a single mom trying to support herself and her 3 homeschooled kiddo's and we've got to find her a place that can understand all of that!
She's also looking for work, so any leads there would be great!
We are in the Fishers Landing part of town and would like to stay close over here because I will do her child care for her... but she's not too picky, just needs a home and a job. :

Thanks in advance!

Jessie I will keep looking too. I am determined to find you something close to me (and I mean walking distance close ) Unless you don't want to be that close to me.

The kids are back today they have been at grandma's since Saturday. Its been nice and so quiet and I miss them terribly! I cannot wait to see them.

yeah..Phenergan knocks me out totally. In fact, I've had a case of the stomach bug this week and just busted out the bottle from the cupboard last night to help with the rolling nausea. I slept 12 hours straight through. I guess DH brought the baby to me twice to nurse and I didn't even know it. (Sleeping in a different room to try to not get everyone else sick.)

When I was pregnant, I would take a Phenergan and literally fall asleep in the middle of a sentence. no joke.

Check Craigslist! There are a LOT of listings on there for two bedrooms. There are a few for 3 bedroom apartments which sound decent, but we really really want to avoid an apartment. Tell her to avoid Evergreen Park Apts. It's so not worth the stress.

Pft. Your neighborhood is the perfect location. We have an appt. at 5 to see a house, but it's way out by Vanc. Lake. We would be out of HCA district and I wouldn't be able to get the kids to school on Fridays anyway

Where is LaCenter? {And please don't say "Between LaLeft and LaRight" like Mick did }

Nevermind, I found it. Out past Ridgefield, tooooo far!

Hi Ladies

Hello,

Sorry, I don't check in here that often. I wanted to see if anyone needs a high chair (used but in good condition) and a king sized comfortor with bed skirt, etc. Brianna is now in a booster seat at the table and there is nothing wrong with the comforter...I was getting sick of the color (tan) and needed something more uplifting. Let me know...it is free before I put it on craigslist.

All is well with us. Brianna is starting to finally walk at 15 months. Hey, I could use advice. She usually gets up 1x a night to nurse but for the past 2 to 3 weeks she has been getting up 4x a night and it is killing me. I don't believe in CIO so I need other advice. She could be teething. She has 10 teeth and needs to get in her eye teeth. AmberLeigh is doing great in school and loves it. She even goes when she is feeling ill.

JESSIE

I have a friend who just moved back home to BG and has a TON of boxes, really great moving boxes and paper, too.

I told her I'd ask you if you wanted it, because she's ready to get rid of them.

Let me know.

And...my baby cannot be contained anymore by the "tummy time blanket". He's found carpet, and he's off.

Crap.

My house does not have baby ready floors right now.

YES!!!! PLease! I would LOVE them! We can pick them up any evening, the sooner the better. Oh, that would be awesome! Thank you Amy!

And that house we had the appt for? OMG. I cannot even describe with words how bad it was. On our way out the door to see another. A little more than I wanted to spend, but it sounds decent and it's much closer.

Okay, we have an appt. at 8 to see the other house. We saw the outside and it looks okay. A bit meh, not like shiny beautiful or anything, but it looks big and has a large front yard. No fence. A tiny back yard with a fence. The price is higher than I wanted to spend, almost as much as the one in the perfect location, but the neighborhood is very quiet and semi-rural.

The other place, out by the lake? Oooooh was it bad. Phenomonally bad. It was TINY. Had a great huge backyard with plenty of room for a garden, but it was sooooo small. While we were waiting for the owner we heard a very VERY loud noise. Nate came running from the backyard and yelled, "This is awesome! There is a train right by the back yard!" Yeah. Train tracks just beyond the fence! By that point M just wanted to leave, but I was determined to be polite and at least see the inside.

Yikes. Not only was it tiny, it reeked. We walked in the front door and I had to walk right back out again. It smelled badly of animals. Then they showed us the bedrooms. Two on the main floor, two in the basement. The basement? That clinched it. The entrance to the basement was in the garage, not the house. The stairs were unlighted cement ~ very dark and dangerous. There were rusty nails sticking out of wood boards. The basement was not fully finished. It had a half bath which was more like a tiny closet with a toilet tucked inside ~ no sink anywhere to be found and it was 'wall papered' with old, faded and torn maps.

We thanked them for their time and got out of there.

Aaaamy... Your PM box is full!

So the second house we saw tonight was MUCH better. Mick wasn't thrilled, but I liked it and the kids are enchanted. I'm to call tomorrow evening to confirm the price as the guy who showed us the house thinks the ad might have been wrong, that the price is actually almost $1300 per month. He's going to call the owner and I'm calling him tomorrow. IF the price is the lower figure {close to $1100, but not quite} we're going to apply. If it's the higher figure, no way.

I really like this house. It's large, very large. NO carpets upstairs at all ~ all pergo or linoleum. I hate carpets with kids, so that's awesome. It has a fully finished basement ~ it's actually able to be divided into a basement apartment ~ it has a full bedroom, a family room, a full bathroom and a little kitchenette. No stove or fridge, but room for both so we could put in a microwave and mini fridge and turn the downstairs into a big family area. Plenty of space down there for a sewing station, all the kids toys and a small sofa. Big living room, lots of space for a birthing pool! Big dine in kitchen, TONS of cabinet and counter space. The cabinet space sold me. It has a large front porch with plenty of room for a porch swing and a large deck in the back which they're planning to completely rebuild, lots of room for summer barbeques. I can easily picture us living in this house and having little parties there.

The downsides are that Mick doesn't like the place ~ he is a former carpenter and he said the house needs some work. The floors bugged him ~ the pergo isn't flush with the hardwood under in the hall due to a step down that they tried to compensate for, which makes the floor feel a little odd under foot in that area. It bothered M a lot. One close had a hole in the floor, he said. He does not like the yard ~ unfenced large front yard which needs a lot of TLC and work, tiny fenced backyard which looks more like a chicken run {but I say it's the perfect size to let Ali and Ana play in, put in a Little Tykes play house and a sandbox and they'll be thrilled}. The washer and dryer go in what looks like a storage shed off the deck, so we have to go outside to a seperate area to do laundry. The house is in Orchards, not terribly far out but not on the bus line.

So anyway, I'M going to be sad if the price is the higher figure, but M will be happy to keep looking. We're going to check out a house in Washougal later in the week and hope to check out the one near Allison tomorrow when he gets home from work. We're still looking, but I liked this house.

I ate a hot dog from Costco and forced down some popcorn today. Blech. I've lost more weight. I think that once we're done with this move maybe I'll start improving.

Someone needs to become a night owl to keep me company. Insomnia is lonely.

Is Melatonin safe for pregnancy?
