I will keep an eye out.
It was in Fruit Valley! Have you seen the same house?

I understand completely. I've found a lot of listings for beautiful large houses... all waaay too expensive. Who can afford $2000 rent?

Allison! I think I found the one you mentioned! I called and it's still available, he wants me to call back tomorrow afternoon to set up an appt. to see it tomorrow night. Thanks for the tip!

Here's one pretty close to you now:
http://portland.craigslist.org/clk/apa/945026106.html

And this is in the right school district:

This one is close to Allison--maybe walkable?

I saw lots on craigslist. I searched for "vancouver" $1000 max and 3br+ have you looked through all those listings?

There's lots of rentals in my area and I'd be happy to look around for you, but I know that's not the part of town you're interested in...

I've been combing through Craigslist for so long they're starting to blur together! The first one we actually already have an appt. to see tonight, the second one we have an appt. to see on Tuesday. The third one I missed, but am checking out right now. Thank you!

I'm interested in ANY part of town. Ideally I would prefer to be close to HCA, but anything works. I saw a place near Marshall and got excited because it's kind of close to you, but it turned out to be 2 br, not 3.

That house is gorgeous, Heather. Just a bit outside of our price range.

We saw the inside of one and the outside of another tonight. The one that we saw the whole thing was nice. A little on the small side, but Mick really liked it. It's a duplex, but set up and laid out well. It's not far from here.

The one we saw just the outside of we're going to see the inside of tomorrow evening. I LOVE that house. Love it. Allison, it's the one I told you about today, near you. The street is kind of confusing and winding, but once we figure out how to get there without getting lost it will be easier. The yard is very large and the house is cute and looks pretty big. The price is $100 less per month than the other one we looked at tonight. I WANT this house! So we're going to go see it tomorrow and cross our fingers and hope hope hope that we can get it. It's less than a block from a park, on a very quiet looking cul de sac. It looks perfect and unless it's like, itsy bitsy on the inside and reeks of pee and smoke I think we're going to love the place. The price is perfect, the yard is perfect, the location is perfect. Now let's just hope we're not rejected!

Was that the 3rd one I posted about or a different one? Hope it goes well! I'll look around here tomorrow, just in case. Figured you'd exhausted craigslist by now

Rowan seems really interested in food and he's already got 2 teeth. I'm trying to figure out if I should start him on some solids. It seems a little early, but he's looking more and more ready. I gave him some water at dinner tonight and he LOVED it. He was so excited to get some big people food He was a little shocked at the coldness, but he wouldn't let me take the glass away until he'd finished the last of it.

Where's Allison? Seems like she hasn't posted all day...

amoreena, I'll be up in vanc tomorrow. can we meet?

I've got to stop by shayla's shop and I might swing by allison...oh only if Carson goes to school. if not. then I'm just stopping at shaylas to drop off some fabric.

Carson came home early from school complaining of a tummy ache and stuffy nose. how the two are related I have no clue. so come to find out, he didn't eat his lunch, uhm maybe why the tummy hurts. he does have a stuffy nose. so we got some breath right nasal strips. cause it has no medicine. the pseudo drug, he does sound better.

anyways.

you've got my # right? I'll pm ya in the morning.

Yes, Leslie, let's meet! I need to go grocery shopping, but other than that I should be around. Just let me know when you're coming--I'm close to Shayla. Not sure if I have your number, will check and PM you mine.

Hope Carson is doing better!

Fair warning: I wasn't planning on cleaning much today and the house is still dirty from yesterday :

allison- after craft fair season is over, i think you should consider letting me carry your felt food in the shop! they look so fun and yummyyyyy!

I was so excited to find a bunch of real wool felt this season, I am making everyone stockings this year in our house!
yes I'm coming up with ooga booga

fair warning I don't know if people want to hang out with us, Carson stayed home from school today. he seems fine, but has a stuffy nose. no fever and seems to be running as his usual self. I don't know.

anyways, amoreena, I'll call you when I get to shayla's to hopefully give you enough time. Eric said he's getting off of work early. why does he always do that when I've got plans?

I still need to shower, shayla's not open for another hour.

Allison, I could do a park. anything near shayla, amoreena? that is if amoreena wants to go out and play with us.

Sounds good. We'd love to go to the park if we're done shopping in time

By me & Shayla there is Marshall Park, but I know that it's hard keeping track of lots of kids there. There is a smaller community park called Arnada that is usually empty. We like it. It's right by the intersection of 1-5 and 4th Plain
post #56 of 370
leslie amoreena are we doing park can someone call me. I can meet at a park by amoreena. kids would love big one by library whats it called? Maddy is saying she is only going out of the house if Carson will be there. She wants to make cin rolls but I told her to wait cause I don't know what time frame we are thinking.

Sooo cold today!

We see the house tonight! I really really want this house. Wish us good luck and good impression vibes tonight, please. The house seems really perfect for us... I want the owner to think we're perfect for it!

OMG Rowan already has two teeth!??! Max is still gumming it, no sign of teeth for miles still.

And he is not all that interested in food. I can't believe he's almost 8 months. HOW DID THAT HAPPEN?

Jessie good luck on that house!!!
