I'm back, maybe! we'll see how the rest of the school year goes, but this far, knock on wood, my spring looks a lot better than my fall.
we barely made it through christmas - lots of last minute gift buying and wrapping. but we all survived and all is good.
i'm having a great break - getting bits and pieces of overdue (or creeping up) work done daily and hanging out with the kidlets. going up to a friend's cabin form the 1st to the 3rd - at least with o., perhaps e. too - she hasn't decided if she would rather avoid the preschool boy mayhem that will be there (i.e., little brother with a small posse).
dh got me a gym membership for xmas and i've been kicking my rear back into gear. my training went majorly downhill this fall particularly as the work piled up and the days got so short. i've run three times since christmas eve - and did a cardo kickboxing class tonight. the thing i think will be helpful about the tm, is that i get so bored, i have to play with the controls and end up doing lots of speedwork, pyramids, hills, etc. we'll see.
i played around with smart coach and hal higdon's boston plan, which i used last year - and put together a kick my a$$ into gear plan for four weeks, followed by the 12 week hal boston plan. should be ok. i need to lose a good five pounds i think - this is about the one time i wish i owned a scale!
i have been reading along, and am hoping to jump back in soon - have been thinking of you all during the holidays - and about that dingo commune!
