I am sick already and I haven't even missed my period yet.

Also, I had implantation bleeding on the 2nd and the 5th, so now I am freaking out thinking that maybe that is b/c two different eggs implanted on two different days.

My sister-in-law-to-be though was pregnant with identicals in july/august (sadly miscarried both ) and is a fraternal twin herself so I have BIG hopes that I'll at least have twin neice(s)/nephew(s)

My maternal grandmother is a twin, but I feel quite certain that I won't have twins. Just...can't picture it, I guess.

I've been having dreams about multiples since about a week before I found out I was pregnant. It does run in my family...severely. I'm freaked out! I hope the twin announcement comes from someone other than me.

When I was pregnant with DS2 I swore it was twins because I gained weight faster and things were just different. But he was not a twin. Now the third time around I already have a tiny bump at only 4 weeks along I've read about third child syndrome and how most people swear they are preg with twins during second, third, and fourth pregnancies. If I didn't know any better I would have suspected twins too. The thought of twins makes me break into a cold sweat!

Multiples in the family

I've always hoped to have twins. My maternal grandfather was a twin, my father was a twin, and there are other twins further back on both sides of my family tree. My husband's father was a twin, his grandfather was a triplet, and there are several sets of twins amongst his cousins, etc. I'm 32 and hoping to get the two-for-one deal of a lifetime, lol!!! :

It runs in my maternal family. My grandmother had two sets of fraternal twins so there is a chance that I will. I don't have any special feeling, but we'll see I suppose.

Maybe it was because of this post, but I had a crazy long dream last night, and everything was in twos: two dogs, two nephews (I have four), two babies, and two animals (a donkey and a young horse). I won't go into details, but everything needed rescuing at some point durring the dream.

My husband also had a dream about twin baby boys that was less bizarre than my dream. He was holding them.
