Thanks for the kind words, Mamas! It's a nice departure from the usual "where are G's real toys?" and "you need more furniture" that we get from family.

slsurface - I did make the mosaic. It's my first attempt at something like this and I wasn't completely thrilled with it. It's hard to stop the internal judgment that everything we make has to be just perfect to be enjoyable. But I do love it now.

minimunklemama - we're in Atlantic County, just 10 minutes from Ocean City We chose our house because of the back yard and because it's only a 2 mile bikeride to DH's work. We're so happy here!

hollytheteacher - Please do come and play. We're quite short on crunchy mamas around here and always looking for playmates! (and DH is a teacher so you'd get plenty of shop talk too!)

We have homes like that in the preserved historical area in Fort Worth. Its exactly the kind of house we've been searching for! Historical homes such as an Art Deco can be a bit pricey tho.

I have that exact same rainbow quilt! I got mine from Saver's for 4.99, and everyone aks me where I got it, and I always tell them, but they want to know the original store and I have no idea! ! I was always curious myself, as it had no tags, but we love it.

Don't be silly! You have a great house. I love your shower curtain. Most of the "kids" bathroom decor I've seen is bight and garish. But that one is lovely. Makes me wish I had a second bathroom to decorate it for DS.
