Passing this on...please call if you can!

Call-in ALERT !!!

NEW JERSEY COALITION FOR VACCINATION CHOICE http://www.njvaccinationchoice.org/action.html

New Jersey now has the most mandated vaccines of any state in our country! Please help us to pass the Conscientious Exemption to Mandatory Immunizations bill!http://www.njleg.state.nj.us/2008/Bi...500/260_I1.HTM

We are quickly approaching the January 1, 2009 deadline for NJ's mandated flu shot. This is the first time any state has required its babies and toddlers (ages 6-59 months) to get a flu shot to enter daycare, preschool or kindergarten. It is also important to note that 90% of the flu vaccines still contain thimerosal. Many of our children will be excluded from school simply because their parents don't believe they should have the flu vaccine! We need vaccination choice in NJ now more than ever before. Please act now and let your voice be heard!

Apparently 10,000+ signatures on our petition are
not getting the attention of NJ lawmakers. (http://www.gopetition.com/online/16754.html)

So, PLEASE make just 5 phone calls today (and email everyone you
know to do the same) if you value VACCINATION CHOICE!
Call-in will be on Monday December 1- Wednesday December 3 (and beyond).

Who to call:

(1) Governor Jon Corzine: (609) 292- 6000 or fax (609) 292-3454

(2) Heather Howard (NJ Health Commissioner): (609) 292-7837, or try her
email: heather.howard@doh.state.nj.us or fax: (609) 984-5474

(3) Your 3 NJ Legislators: To find your district and your 3 state legislators, go to http://www.njleg.state.nj.us/members/legsearch.asp

and then check here to see if they are one of 35 sponsors already http://njvaccinationchoice.org/sponsors.html

- It's important to thank those legislators who have already sponsored bill A260/S1071, and encourage them to actively work to push the bill forward.
- If they are NOT a co-sponsor, ask them urgently to co-sponsor NJ legislative bill A260/S1071, the Conscientious Exemption to Mandatory Immunizations.

Message:
As the Jan. 1 mandatory flu shot deadline is upon us, it is URGENT that they support and pass Assembly Bill A260 (S1071 on the Senate side) as soon as possible. If time permits, share your own reasons why you want vaccination choice.

Who can sign it? Only NJ residents?

Also is it posted in the tribal area?

And did anyone get holistic moms and LLL involved? Don't know whether there are a lot of moms who don't vax but it's worth it.
