We are starting the first NOCIRC group and we need all the help we can get!!!! Please pm if you would like info!

UPDATE! I have booked a meeting room at the Terry Library on Nappa Valley Drive on January 31 at 2- 3:30!!!

PLEASE post here and let me know if you are going to be able to come. IF we have enough people I can bring some snacks and stuff. Would love to have a nice turn out so we can get a group together and start working on some community projects together!

Awesome! When I had my son in Arkansas, I was informed that he was the only boy of the 8 born that day who didn't get circed. The nurse wasn't very happy with us.LOL I'm glad Arkansas is getting a nocirc group. I'm not there anymore or I'd join!

May I suggest, you may want to reserve the room for longer than just an a hour and a half. When our NOCIRC group gets together in Colorado (we meet every 6-8 weeks), we meet for 3 hours, and then sometimes go out to dinner together on top of that! There is always plenty to do - getting to know each other's backgrounds and interests, sharing stories, check in/emotional support, learning new information, discussing fine points of intactivism issues, brainstorming activism ideas and planning them out, tightening up administrative details, watching a video, having a guest speaker, etc. etc.
