I'm in the market for a new epilator. Any recommendations? I had an old (like more than ten years old) Braun Silk Epil that recently gave up the ghost. I liked it but it was not perfect--didn't get all of the hairs which tended to be frustrating. Thanks!

This is an old thread but I was searching for recommendations too, just out of curiosity. I use Emjoi epilators myself. I've got a few (one corded, one cordless) and have been happy with them.
What I do is shave once a week (say mid-week), and then epilate once a week (at the end of the week). I find this is the best method for me. The shaving seems to exfoliate enough to prevent any ingrown hairs and the epilating really does mean less hair for longer periods of time. After doing this consistently this winter, both processes now take very little time for me at this point, and my razors last a long time (I don't use shaving cream, I put on olive oil before I get in the shower and then shave.)
