Vaccines and food allergies

Through the past almost 2 years, I have found my daughter is allergic to many foods and "natural" additives, including xanthan gum. My husband also gets migraines from xanthan gum, so I shouldn't be surprised my DD has issues. But I am 100% positive she has an issue with xanthan gum, soy and things like guar gum and may possible have issues with eggs (I have to go back and do challenge testing with that, it could have been xanthan gum the whole time since that seems to be in everything!)

I have seen that some vaccines have soy, lecithin and xanthan gum, but I can't find which vaccines exactly contain those ingredients. Does anyone know where I can find a list like that? I went through the archives and a lot of the links were broken

Also - I know I need to change doctors (again!) because my doctor keeps pushing the vaccines even though DD has these allergies (I guess doctors think I am using it as an excuse because this is the second doctor I have had to go to, the first gave DD a flu shot after I told her I suspected egg allergies in my DD) Any advice with finding a new one? I don't like jumping around to different doctors because DD does have health issues and the more I go to different doctors, the more I have to tell her background all over again : (

Go to http://www.novaccine.com.

You can look up the ingredients of every vaccine on the market.

As for swithcing docs....I'd keep looking for one who is at least tolerant of your choice to not vaccinate. I know its a pain to keep switching, but its worth it to find a doc you can work with.

Some vaccines have soy?? Ugh. I'll have to look that up. I have food allergies including soy.

I didn't think xantham gum was in a lot of foods, because it is used as a substitute for wheat in wheat-free foods. I have a harder time finding food with no wheat

I read a lot on here that a family practitioner doc doesn't tend to harrass about vaxes like a ped will, maybe you can take her to a regular doc?

I would not even mention vaccines while looking for a new doc. If they ask, just say you are religiously opposed to the practice of vaccination and leave it at that. Legally they cannot ask you any more about it, although some might try.

Xantham gum is in a lot of food, it's in my hemp milk, bbq sauce, even root beer (that is where DH got his migraines). So I am left only being able to drink and cook with plain rice milk from Rice Dream. all the others have things DD can't have : (

I'll try a family doc - I should go to one myself anyway
