Any ideas of easy crafts I can make with bamboo? I'm especially interested in pictures (or instructions for) of homemade bamboo crafts that don't look like they were professionally made 
My mom was saying that Lowe's had a picture of a homemade flower pot- basically bamboo was glued (?) to the outside of a plain flower pot. She said it looked really nice, but I don't know how to get a picture of it.
We have a lot of really nice dark brown, thin bamboo growing in our yard, and it would be nice to decorate with it.
(we have green bamboo too, but it's thicker and I think the black is prettier).
