Is this supposed to be scary? Like how scary compared to Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter...?

DP would like to see it and it's at the IMAX, which the kids love, but I'm not sure about it.

Hm, how old are you kids? and how easily do they get scared?

I am an adult, and to tell you the truth, the previews of this movie creep me out.
I still want to see it, but I would be very careful about bringing the kids to something like this.

I would love to see this film, even though it's not received very positive reviews here in the U.K. But I love Keanu, so I'm biased

I think it would be alright for 11 - 12 year olds, if they are used to intense sequences. I saw it and I didn't think it was 'scary' per se, but it does have some super intense sequences, as well as some disturbing death footage. It has a nice environmental message as well

DH and I just saw this last weekend. I would say it's okay for older kids 8+ or so. I mean, really it's not that it's scary I just don't think any younger than that, they would get much out of it.

I did enjoy the movie but some of it is kind of out there (aliens, so obviously )
