Oh! This is something else I need to do. I've taken my prenatals like, twice since giving birth. And I do *not* eat healthy enough to justify skipping them.

neveryoumindthere, thanks for that website! I'll definitely keep it in mind for later. However, right now I do think I'll get my hair cut because I actually want to wear it down. And really, shoulder-length is short hair to me. I'm afraid to just plop her in the babyhawk for the cut though 'cause she's only quiet in it if I'm moving or she's asleep. I think I'll wait until my MIL gets here and make her accompany me.

How are we doing on getting these things done ladies?

I'm doing really well on the eating/drinking front. It's given me a lot more energy.

I'm so-so on getting my walk in, sometimes the logistics of nap time just don't seem to work out. I'm getting a walk maybe every other day.

The shower thing has just gone out the window though. Addie has been super needy and nursing like crazy during the hours after Dh gets home and when she's finally out for the night all I want to do is crawl in with her. I'm going to have to put some extra effort into this one.. b/c I think the last time I had a shower was when I started this thread! : Guess that one needs to go over in the confession thread!

And my pregnancy tea... yeah... still sitting on the counter.

Here's what I need to do:
* Get out of the house! I'm turning into such a shut-in. I'm intimidated by holiday shoppers so I don't ever want to go out, but I could at least go out for walks with Calla. She would probably love being out now that she notices her surroundings.

* Do some outings without the baby. It sort of makes me feel guilty to contemplate this, but DH was suggesting that I go to the movies (I'm a movienerd and really miss going to the movies - especially movie theater popcorn) this weekend. Also I think my in-laws would probably love to watch baby for a few hours while DH and I go out together.

* Pump every day for fridge or freezer to facilitate outings.

* Get my hair done! I stopped getting highlights a year ago thinking that I wouldn't want to bother with maintaining them once I had a kid. I'm just feeling really blah with my mousy hair, though. Maybe just a hair cut would be good enough.

* Start exercising. I've been super lucky that breastfeeding has melted off so much of the baby weight quickly. I need to tighten up my tummy, though.

* Get back into a yoga class. This would be really good for me.
I suck!!! All I've done is pump about four times since making that list.

I've been out without the baby only one time EVER and that was a few minutes ago for my PP check up (which I should have done two weeks ago, really).

I've not gone out with the baby on my own. We had planned to meet Daddy for lunch (even if just in his office) once a week, but it just seems impossible to get out of the house.

Oh well at least I've made a bit of progress. I'll just have to keep trying. It's an eye-opener to re-evaluate and see how much room I have for improvement.

*Eat 3 meals a day, 2 snacks, and DRINK MY H2O. The water is the hard one for me.

*Take 10 minutes every day (at least) and snuggle with DH, give him kisses, and feel loved. We are just not intimate enough anymore and it's taking it's toll on both of us.

*Shower and do my hair and makeup every day.

*Take all my supplements even if I don't feel like I need them. I do.

I'll try to come up with more, this is a great idea.
Wow, I'm doing pretty well with this list!

I'm going to the gym like I want, still showering & getting ready like I want.

I could spend more time with DH. There needs to be another hour added to the day!

Ok - I do need to work on the eating and drinking water. I'm not doing well with that AT ALL.

I do take my supplements. I've been feeling much better mentally and physically since doing that.

I'm adding to my list though -

*Get my ass over to the tanning salon and start tanning again. It helps my SAD so much, it really helps my mood. Having a little color makes me feel so much better about my body, regardless. MUST do that this week, and go at least 2 times a week.
