How about a December Breech Thread?

Seems like a lot of us have wee ones that might be "directionally challenged" when it comes to optimal birth positions. I'm 38 weeks today with a frank breech presentation. Going with my doula friend today to do handstands int he pool. I've done chiro, webster, pelvic tilts, pulsatilla, moxa, acupuncture, hands and knees, and knee to chest. I'm also talking to the baby. and visualizing the spin.

Anyone else wanna check in?

Checking in at 37w4d with baby who is about halfway between head down and transverse. If she's not back down by Saturday, we are scheduling a version for Mon or Tues. My abs are all stretched out from my 8lb DS, so hopefully she will move easily. If the version doesn't work, I will try the Webster technique and go from there since the version is covered by insurance and chiro is not.

good luck ladies! My baby was directionally challenged but the Webster technique straightened her out around 35 weeks.

Turn, babies turn!

There's a wondeful breech birth story on mdc here. This mama gave birth on The Farm to be able to have her breech baby too!

Good luck to you all. I hope your babes turn!

I'm not breech but but baby is not in optimal position. Head is down but not facing down and sort of over to the right a little. Not sure if that makes sense. Any tips other then hands and knees on getting baby right? And how long/often should i be on my hands and knees?

Back down!!

I went in to for a position check today and baby girl is back to head down!!! I need to get a binding support belt to help keep her there since I have zero tone in my abs now. Mimi Maternity didn't have the full coverage belt that I need so I am planning to check BabiesRUs tomorrow per MW's advice.
Good luck getting your babies to turn!!

That is so great to hear! : Good luck finding a support belt...maybe a local owned maternity store might have one if the other places don't?
