There are several references to vaccines.

There is an article titled "America's Health Checkup" which attempts to measure what they call the vital signs of America. Guess what the first item on the 'report card' is? Yes, it's childhood immunizations rates for which the U.S. rates a B+ for the record of 77.4% of children 19-35 months old who received the full series of recommended vaccinations in 2007, just shy of the goal of 80% by 2010

Not surprising.
Mainstream media is totally bought and paid for by big pHARMa. They have no choice but to follow the party line.

What is interesting though is that the anti-vaxers evidenlty are making an impact and big pHARMa needs to do everything in their power to keep the sheeple vaccinating and buying their drugs.

I see a shift in the winds.

OOps! I missed your post!

What really struck me was the fact that there were three additional blurbs regarding vaccines in that same magazine--one about vaccines being a contributing factor to the Gulf War Syndrome, one about vaccines being the cause of Hannah Poling's autism (I did take issue with their assertion that her case is "unique"), and one about the 27 deaths associated with Guardasil (they were quick to note that although there is an ongoing investigation health officials claim the Guardasil vaccine was not the cause of those 27 deaths). Yet the same magazine is using immunization rates as the number one factor in determining the health of the nation--because we all know that vaccines = good health. How on earth can a reasonable person not question the safety of vaccines after hearing about the Guardasil deaths, Hannah Poling, or the Gulf War veterans who are suffering devasting illnesses that were, in part, caused by vaccines?

Hannah Poling's parents were healthcare professionals, who knew the ropes of the healthcare maze - her mother a nurse and her father a doctor. Otherwise, her case would have been ignored as so many others have been.

Oh yes, I totally agree. I've even ran into some mainstream allopathoc doctors and nurses who will actually admit in a personal (like health food standing in line way) that they don't vax their kids and use natural remedies, hmmm. Interesting.
