Personally I am using my pouch more than anything, quick easy in/easy out with the other two kids running around. He loves the wrap more though.
I use my k'tan a lot:

It is very handy in terms of ease of use and "pop"ability.

I also recently purchased aecond hand baby bjorn for our ski vacation....amd have been surprised by how much I love it....as does Lil:

Lil likes being in aling.....my first did not.

i like that it frees up my arms....and I don;t necessusarily have to haul her car seay or atroller around.

What are you using?
We have an organic Ergo with infant insert for my DH to use, a Zolowear ring sling, a Baby Pouch wrap and a Kozy MeiTai.
Does your baby like it?
He loves the Baby Pouch and the Kozy best (on me) and he sometimes likes the ring sling. He loves the Ergo with Daddy as well.
Are you enjoying it?
I enjoy the Mei Tai the most. Its so easy and not bulky...feels good.
I also like the wrap but it does heat me right up b/c he falls asleep within minutes right on my chest.

Here are pictures of him crashed out in each of them...

Awww thanks!
He does actually and is quite the animated lil guy but in a carrier, he sacks right out.
Here he is in the tub the other night...with eyes open:

Oh wow- what a gorgeous Ergo! Love these. We have a similar shot of Jasper in his green infant insert back on Election Day- how sweet.

I am so glad so many of us are wearing our babies, it is SO good for them! Keep on slingin' mamas!!!

I recently got a Ellaroo 'Kristen' (colorway) woven wrap . I think it supports my baby better now that he's getting heavier then the stretchy wrap did.

I also have a 'Lisa' stripes Didymos wrap on the way..... I'm very excited about that one !

Woo-hoo Rae!! I am desperately seeking a wool Didymos. It is so cold here, I feel like I need one!

I have an "iris" didy on it's way to me. It's my Holiday gift to myself.

Looks great!

How sweet, Bee! That's what Colin did on every carrier, and Ainsley does it as well. So sweet

I'm so proud of myself..... I tried a ruck wrap carry (baby on my back) .... and not only was it a success (though could use some tweaking).. but now the baby is sleeping on my back !!!! (he's been VERY hard to get to sleep here lately).

I used my Lisa Didymos.. but she was really much to long.. hmm
post #56 of 74
Yay!!! I'm loving my wrap soo much. What size is yours?
4.6 .. great for fwcc .. but to much for a ruck even with a tibetan tie

Whoops I didn't do a tibetan tie.. got that confused.. guess I did some sort of a chest belt..... maybe I should try Tibetan next time!
Hmmm.... so are you saying that I need another, shorter wrap? Cause I have a 4.6 too. Guess I need a size 4 now too?

What are you using? A Bjorn - a chocolate brown one. I think its fab.
Does your baby like it? Tolerates it, is more like it. I wish I knew what other carriers she would like more, b/c they are all so pricey. She DESPISES the Moby. Ugh, I'm going to sell it on the Trading Post soon. Or if anyone wants a gorgeous woven green/moss Moby D wrap, PM me.
Are you enjoying it? I love wearing her and I hate that it isn't working out the way I hoped it would. Boo. Hiss.

At most she lasts 30 min in the carrier, then cries and wails and won't have anything to do with it. She loves being held, though, so I don't know where the disconnect lies. Any advice?

haha Changed.. I didn't say that..... but it might be nice lol. Try it and see what you think with your babe in a ruck in your 4.6!

Carrie... my middle child wasn't happy in a carrier unless I put my arm around the carrier 'as if' I were holding him.. then he'd calm down he was that way most of our babywearing days! (eventually your arm starts to hurt just holding it there doing nothing!) Might be worth a try at least.
