does over exposure to wheat cause allergies?

dd had oral aversion and didn't start eating until neatly 2. Once she did she mainly ate grain foods, specifically wheat since its the most common.

Could this have caused her allergy?

I think other factors may have to be at play for that to be true but it is quite true that over exposure to any food can cause an intollerance to develop - just probably some people have other factors that make it easier for intollerances to develop. Hmmm...not being very articulate. Sorry.
