I'm 40 weeks + 1 day today. I've been having prodomal labor the last two nights/mornings. I'm guessing this little one will be born sometime this weekend. I'm so excited to be writing this post, because I've been posting in this DDC since the day I found out we were pregnant (3/27). It's been wonderful sharing this will all of you.
I'll keep you posted if anything exciting happens! I am so looking forward to my hypnobabies water birth. And I can't wait to meet my daughter!

Update:
Miss Lucia (Loo-sha) Rose came into the world yesterday 12/6 at 4pm. She is a whopping 8lbs, 13 oz, with beautiful black hair.
Her birth took a little longer than I had hoped because of a prolonged pushing stage, but it was peaceful and beautiful. I could not have done it without my amazing hypno-doula and midwives; I am in awe of them today. We came home from the birth center last night and spent our first night at home as a new family of 4.
She is nursing like a champ! In fact, I can't get her to stop nursing. It's such a relief!
I'll write up the birth story soon. Here are some pics.
