Looking for 2 mom/sexual orientation books beyond the preschool level

Hi all. I don't much hang around in queer parenting these days, so for those that don't "know" me, I'm a lesbian mom who has two kids by anonymous donor insemination with my dp.

My 8 year old could use some books either about having queer parents, donor insemination and beyond preschool books about "all kinds of families."

I'd love to know what books your kids have loved.

I found a bunch on Amazon. I have a 3 year old, so I don't have a lot of experience with the older age books. Hope it helps some!

I love Jacqueline Woodson's From the Notebooks of Melanin Sun.

It deals both with interracial relationships and queer parents.
