Anyone else NOT getting up to pee at night?~

With my first pregnancy, I remember getting up to pee 1-3 times a night. It was brutal!! That is totally not happening at all this time. I almost never have to get up to pee in the middle of the night. I'm due Feb 13th. Does this mean I'm not drinking enough water or something?

Thats a good question. I wonder that too. I'm 27 weeks and I only go pee about 1x a night! It used to more though.. ?

I don't usually get up to go either or not until at least 4:30-5ish. Part of that is due to purposely not drinking a lot of water after 7 or 8 at night.

Maybe it isn't a lack of drink, but a lack of sleep? With your first, you can sleep in. With my third, I don't go to bed until later, and then wake up earlier with the kids.

hahahaha - I'm due 1/6/09 and this thread is funny. about a month ago I was only peeing once or twice/night, and then I went through a spell where I slept the entire night. Not anymore!! I've been trying to make sure that I'm super hydrated, so I'm peeing at least 3x/night! I also always drink water right after I pee though just to make sure I stay hydrated all night though...it helps when you're getting closer though!

I usually get up once a night to go. Not too bad. I usually have to get up alot at the beginning of pregnancy . .. then it slows down . . . and then toward the end it starts up again. I hope it keeps at 1 time a night, though.

My babe is still transverse so I don't have much extra weight on my bladder like I would if he were head down. I haven't gotten up in the middle of the night to pee once since those early, early days.

Ha! Just this past week I've gone from once (since about 5 weeks) a night to twice. Not a whole lot of continuous sleep happening around here. I guess you could say I'm getting practice!

I don't get up to pee either. Now if my son wakes me up in the middle of the night I will go, but I don't wake up to go.

Nope...never...but I don't go to bed until round midnight after falling asleep on the couch at 9 or so...dh gets me up when he goes to bed. I pee then.

Now my kids get me up at least once per night!

Oh my gosh, seriously? I can't believe that many of you are getting full night's sleep and not having to get up to pee.

I must have the bladder the size of a pea or something.

Colour me jealous!

I was up 5 times last night. Baby girl has her head pressed right on my bladder.

I get up 4-5 times a night to pee and then 1-2 times a night to take my 3yo to the bathroom. I swear I'll actually get to sleep MORE once this baby gets here.

I am drinking alot cos i have been getting braxton hicks and being hydrated supposedly decreases them?

I like to think that I'm not getting up to pee at night but I go to bed between 12am - 2am. When I am awake, I feel like I am always going to the bathroom!

Visiting from March DDC, but my Mom swears that getting up in the middle of the night when you are pregnant makes the baby wake up at those same times to eat.

I just laughed at her, but by the end of my pregnancy with DS, I was getting up 3 times a night. And he was up at those same times to feed every night for at least the first 6 months (2am, 4am, and 6am).

So this time I'm doing what my Mom did for her second pregnancy. Trying not to drink so much before bed so I don't have to get up and trying not to get up if I wake up! It worked for her - I'm #2 and I slept great from the beginning!

Some people seem to handle the baby/sleep thing all right, but it was miserable, torture for me. I'll hop up and down and spin in circles if I think it might help!

I only get up to pee if the stinkin' dog wakes me up first because HE has to pee. : Otherwise I can sleep right through my own need and make it until morning. :
