Postpartum belly binding - Page 2

Wow - great idea!

I like the idea of something like my ring sling, where I could tighten it to fit. I bet it would be pretty easy to sew something like the sugar belly, then you could tighten each set of rings seperately and not have tons of extra fabric hanging!

Thank you!

I was thinking about getting one of the spanx things that holds everything together from your chest to your knees...

But after a few weeks of nursing, easy core exercises and kegels and rest, I feel pretty good in my skin. Intead of the spanx thing, I bought some cute jeans that fit now so I don't have to wait to fit into my other cute pants.

In the meantime, I'm trying to enjoy being well endowed up top. My husband thinks that's so exciting I'm not sure he's even looked at my belly!

Sara, would you please share with us which easy core exercises you've been doing?

My parents gave me money for Christmas and the Belly Bandit is one of the things I bought for myself. I sure hope it turns out to be worth the investment and not just another "thing" that ends up sitting in my closet! ;-)

Wasn't planing on belly binding, but my MW recommended I get a Belly Bandit to wear now around my lower abdomen for support. Well since I have it, I'll try it after too. With this being my third baby, I can use all the help I can get.

I found this link in another forum:

These are the ones they give at the local hospital. The prices are so reasonable compared to other momma post-partum wraps! And I've read good reviews on them.....except for the 12 inch wrap, most Moms who bought that one said it was way too long as it only works for very long torsos. I will give these a try.
