Heart-breaking news from Starmama - Page 5

I am so sorry.

I was struck by your username and your choice for Fiona's middle name. At the funeral for my son after he died in my second trimester, one of my Mayan friends said that babies who die before they are born become one of the stars. We had a plaque made with his name and this quotation from the Little Prince:

"In one of the stars, I shall be living
In one of them, I shall be laughing
And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing
when you look at the sky at night."

I wish you peace and healing.

Lisa
Thank you for sharing. There are no words to ease the loss of a child. Take it one moment at a time and know there are NO time tables on grief. Here's to seeing our beautiful babies again.

Just sending more hugs. I'm so glad you were able to have a wonderful birth and take a lot of pictures. I know how important those memories are when they are what you have.
