I'd like to knit an egg

Ds left his haba eggs in water and they molded. I like to knit him a couple, but all the patterns I find are either knit flat and seamed, or made to open so you can insert a plastic egg. I just want to knit and egg in the round and stuff it. Any patterns?

A lot of them are knitted in two halves that you tie together to get the egg in and out. I could play with it, I supposed, but if there is a pattern out there without that, that'd be great. I guess my confusion with the patterns is that you begin each half in the middle of the egg then decrease to the end of the egg so you have two half cups.

Here are the patterns that I've had bookmarked for awhile. I don't know if these match your criteria, I just got the links from my bookmarks.

Curly Purly
Little Cotton Rabbits
The Purl Bee
Loom Lore
Knitvana

Thanks so much! I think the Curly Purly pattern is just what I was looking for! If you sit down to knit these eggs, you will find that almost all of them have some strange things in them, like knitted flat, or knit from middle, then pick up middle (which I could do, put I'm afraid I'd leave some weird seam), or a weird cast on that you have to go look up! The Curly Purly looks like regular cast on, dpns, top to bottom, stuff. I want to get started.
