So a friend gave me several yards of felt (unfortunately not wool felt) any ideas what I do make? I made several crayon holders, two Halloween costumes, and still have lots left....

Thanks in advance

YOu can make xmas stockings with felt applique shapes on them. You can use them for a base for needlefelting. You can make a xmas tree skirt. You can make a felt board and felt shapes/characters for story time (those are fun for kids). You can make "felt food". Oh so many things with felt!!! Have fun.

I was thinking today of what I would do for a craft project and I think it would be a great idea for your felt use...

Make your own greeting cards! Buy some of those blank cards that you usually put in the printer and use the felt for decorating.

Could you make hand puppets? The biggest problem would be figuring out what glue to use if you don't feel like sewing the features and small details on - Elmer's does NOT work well on felt! It would be hard to use a marker, they don't draw well on felt - I was trying to do that for finger puppets because the features were smaller, but marker didn't look very good. Embroidery or pieces of felt seemed to give a better result. Although they were more work.
