Me, I'm hoping for a good Hanna Andersson sale soon. Anyone know when that happens?

Anyone else waiting for any good mark-downs?

On another thread in this forum I read that HA does a big sale after Christmas. I'm anxiously awaiting that :

Yeah, Hanna is after Christmas... so it Bath and Body Works, but they're had some nice sales lately, too.

I need a sale of winter boots and a nice winter coat... Patagonia, North Face, REI, something like that. Also some baselayer stuff. Walking to school when it's 20 degrees sucks, and it's only going to get colder.

I think I'm the one who posted about the HA sale. I want to say it's the day after Christmas. Definitely the week between Christmas and New Year's, because we're always at my parents'. The first year, I was like "WTH? I'm broke from Christmas!" But then I got wise, and started saving back some fall clothes budget, so I cleaned up the past couple of years. And you want to know the sick thing? I ended up re-selling some of those (worn) clothes on Ebay - and people bid them up for MORE than I paid for them. :

We're waiting on electronics sales. We budgeted some money for a video camera--DH will probably be the kind of Dad who records every moment of the baby's life. Our digital camera just crapped out, so we might try to find some money somewhere to get a new one after Christmas too. Crossing my fingers!

HA EOS sale starts the 22nd

I need some new cloth napkins for everyday. Also need new towels. They usually go on sale in Jan/Feb when they change styles out for Spring.

Also, I will buy DD1 a new coat for next year.

Do Schleich animals ever go on sale?

They sell them at Target I think. Do you think they go on sale there? They also have them at our A C Moore. It would take a while, but could you use the 50% coupon (or is it 40%?) they have each week?
There is no AC Moore in my state (Nebraska) in fact, the closest is in Tenesse according to their website!

I have seen one or two on sale at Target, occasionally. Maybe I need to start stalking Target, make a list of the ones I want (I mean that my kids want) and figure out how much I'll be willing to pay.

Other than like 5% off, I've never seen a good (IMO 40% off at least) sale price

Last year, a few days after xmas, Body Shop did %75 off all their gift sets.
Since items in the sets were already cheaper than individual items, with the %75 discount on top if it, things wound up being ~$2-$3 per item. I stocked up on bath sets of washes, scrubs and moisturizers and had some nice things on hand to put in with birthday/hostess gifts all year.

I am keeping my eyes open for a really good deal on a Kitchenaid mixer. There have been some good deals, but I am waiting for something that is *too good to pass on* b/c it's a want more than a need, yk?

I'll also likely get a few clothing items my family needs.

Oh and we are needing a new coffee press.

I waiting for Leapster2 go down in price. We were going to get DS one for Christmas but a combination of sticking to the budget and me thinking he isn't quite old enough put that plan on hold.

Thanks for the link to the site... looks like a good business to deal with. FYI, they are offering *free shipping* on Schleich items, over $50 total. There is a code on their home page.

I just don't need $50 worth of these animals! The shipping for 3 of them was ridiculous, and I live in the same state as the business.

Waiting somewhat impatiently for the new macbooks to go on sale, although I have feeling there won't be any really killer deal. They had $100 off for black friday - I am waiting for something better (or until DP gets sick of me mentioning it)

I just got an email yesterday from HA - all of their sweaters are either $19 or $29 until the 14th.

I always check out Janie and Jack right before and after Christmas. Last year we got some very cute stuff for DD, including an adorable hat for $2.99 that everyone always compliments me on. We bought a Christmas outfit that was marked way down in a size that she would fit into THIS year, and I can't wait to have her wear it!

Lands End has some stuff on sale right now.

I LOVE and can't wait for the January Land's End clearance. Also The Children's Place and Old Navy clearance. I stock up for my dc and keep it in totes then I can go "shopping" in my basement, lol.
