I "tried" hypnobabies last time. My partner was an idiot thought and was embarrassed to read me cues and it didn't work. My fiance Jose is amazing though and I am consdering the Bradley method. Anyone else thinking about this???

I took a Bradley class with my last pregnancy. I felt it prepared both me and DH very well for what to expect during the pregnancy and birth and what to do during the pregnancy to prepare for a positive birth experience. I found it especially helpful for those planning to birth in a hospital (which we did last time). My Bradley instructor was wonderful and also offered a full library of books about pregnancy, birth, babies, etc and a collection of binders full of info on vaccines, circumsicion, etc.

I did not use any pain medications during DDs birth and did not have any interventions (not even an IV). So, I'm a Bradley success. However, I'm not sure that I really used the Bradley exercises during the birth. It was FAST and FURIOUS and I don't really know what I did to cope, I just did it.
