I too

kissaluv 0's (and similar fitteds) - I thought I was doing well keeping dd in them for 6 mos, but 17mos - wow!
Anyway, I just got my box of 2 dozen kissaluvs/hempthirsties back from a friend who borrowed them for her NB. They are now ready for baby #4, and still in great, soft, pretty much stain-free condition. I feel really good using used cloth because I read somewhere that the most environmentally taxing part of cloth diapers was in the making of new ones.
I use all wool covers too - mostly hand knits for my NB sizes and dd who is in size smalls has an aristocrat and a stacinator and a couple WAHM wool wraps.
For later (and what dd 16 mos uses now) I have prefolds, flats + tie-ons for nights and a few fitteds for when I need something quick and foolproof (ie someone other than Dp and I are changing the dipe!).
Seems to be working for us.
I actually do love fitteds + wool knitted cover the best, but since dryers are non-existent here in NZ I need mostly diapers that dry *fast* on the line. I console myself by thinking of how earth friendly year round line drying is

I think we do diaper wash about every 4-5 days? I'm thinking when we add a NB in I might get a separate bucket and do them separately as dd's dirty diapers are SO much nastier than breastmilk poo could ever be

Anyone used/thought of a good strategy for washing diapers for 2 kidlets without going insane? let me know. . .
