More plugs for my momma's store. But I can't resist.
I was just in Chatt-town visiting over the weekend and couldn't believe all of the cute things she has in there now. Toys and super cute clothes. Nearly everything is already discounted pretty big. Including organic clothes. My daughter played with a fairy tree house for hours and the boys played in a magical tent for hours as well. Someone actually bought the one they were playing in and so we set up one that was a mushroom. Then they played some more. My daughter was 'buying' dolls all day long from my mom. I secretly hope she gets the orange haired doll for Christmas. My boys made sure to make notes of what they wanted in her store.
I hope you guys go by and check it out. And if you buy something, you get 10% off of already discounted stuff too.

AND TELL YOUR FRIENDS TOO!
(They can get 10% off just by mentioning mothering.com)

And tell my mom you are from the mothering.com boards. It will tickle her.
And if your child rearranges the store, it won't be the first time it's happened. I promise.

There isn't a pizza place a few doors down any more. I found out it closed.
But my moms store is on the same side of the street as Bon Apetit and up from it about five stores or so. My sister works in the back of Bon Apetit, grooming dogs for Groomingdales. (Another plug)

have fun,

I love your mom's store! I actually worked with her on a couple of the PBS auctions. I don't get over there nearly as often as I would like, but she does have great stuff! That pizza place was good, sad to hear it closed. Anyway, I will try to get over there soon. I know she has random hours because(I think) she does real estate also? Can you post her hours here? Thanks!

Are we talking about near Coolidge Park? I'll have to check it out the next time we're hanging out at the park.

Her store is on the opposite side of the street from Coolidge Park.
Her hours were random the past two or three years. My grandmother was ill, she was doing real estate, and she is the only one running it.
Typically speaking, her hours are from 11 to 5 or 6. And on Fridays when there is stuff happening and people out, she will stay open later.
Although she has had some doctors appts lately which has caused her to close randomly as well. Call her and leave a message and your number, if she is unable to answer. She will call you back. Sometimes she is helping a customer and can't get to the phone. She has tried to get my dad in there, but he has a hard time understanding the register.

Thanks, Mommas. And ameyscott. I will mention that you know her. It will make her smile.
