anyone else have problems with suedecloth in cloth pads?

I don't know how many commercially sold cloth pads contain suedecloth, but I made some with suedecloth tops for a feel dry layer...they're good for that but after about a week of using them post partum they're really irritating my skin and making me itch. My flannel pantyliners aren't doing that, so it must be the suedecloth. Just curious if anyone else has had this problem?

Are you talking about microfiber suedecloth or lumberjack chamois cotton flannel?

If it's the microfiber, I can't wear that on *non* sensitive parts of my body without being itchy. I can't imagine putting it on a homemade pad.

It's microfiber, I think...the same stuff as they use for cloth diaper inners (alova suedecloth).
