Aww...sounds good! Sending you some happy labor vibes.
Just a thought, often first labors are long. I remember that the mws told me to try to rest as much as possible. I know you're excited...but do try to rest. It's hard work!
Ditto to taking it easy...relax, rest if you can and do what you need to feel at ease (for me that would mean cleaning the house before the mw shows up! )
Good luck to you and sending many peaceful labor vibes your way! :
Hopefully you will have your babe in your arms soon
my labor crept up on me (it was my first time) and when i tried to sleep, i just couldn't. i woke up at 11 p.m. in increasing labor pains. however i didn't get bloody show until about 5 a.m., the water broke at 6 a.m. and baby was born at 7:42 a.m. so, depending upon your pain threshold, you could be further along than you realize, and it could go faster than you think.
MMM, you're coming up soon. Perhaps you both can have babies today. I think Coco is going to stick around my uterus for sometime longer. I am definitely not thinking before Christmas now.
eh. nothing doing. we gave in and went to bed at 11, got up at 6, and went to work. contrax have settled back down to "occasional", though i'm still spotting. soon, soon, soon...
After another scary blood pressure episode, my midwife has given the go-ahead for some induction acupuncture and whatever else we want to try so it's all systems go here.
You could always have those things too with other things stimulating your cervix. Like if you had any internal exams or intercourse. Those things could cause that too.
