Back Labour?

Anyone know anything about back labour? Starting last night and all day today, I feel like my back is on FIRE. I've been having cramps, but not full blown contractions, and my vagina and inside (possibly my cervix?) hurt too, like they are also on fire. I've been having prodromal labour forEVER, so I don't really think this is anything, but could it be?

Maybe...back labor hurts like heck and when it happens it starts there and radiates towards your front. Could be signs tho and the start of something exciting for you! I hope so...keep us posted! :

The back on fire was what I experienced with DS's posterior labor. Maybe try some positions/exercises to get babe in a better birthing position?

I have posterior babies and had back labor for all four of mine. I don't recall a burning feeling but a dull aching feeling for sure. I never feel any pain in my stomach area at all.. Get out that ball and rock!! Or lean over it on all 4's.. That will help!
