ISO 100% cotton, bulky, machine washable yarn

Or any other bulky yarn that you think would work well for a baby sweater (i.e. soft and machine washable).

Well, I'm not sure if it's bulky enough for you but I really enjoyed making a hat and blanket out of Blue Sky Alpacas 100% Organic Cotton. It's a bit sheddy while you're knitting but it's lovely and soft (and washable).
