Flu Shot and Gestational Diabetes

Ok, I was (obsessively) researching the flu vaccine and came across this:

http://en.allexperts.com/q/Endocrino...-diabeties.htm

I had a flu vaccine on Wednesday and my 3 hr glucose test on Friday and was diagnosed with GD. Since then I have had perfect numbers (I have a glucometer). Now I'm wondering if the two are related especially since they are requiring more ultrasounds and interventions now (they so no birth pool because I *need* to be monitored).

Anyone heard of this?

I hadn't heard of it, no. Not to say it may not be true though.

If you're worried about diabetes, I took tri-chromium with cinnamon bark to get my blood glucose under control. Along with a good diet, it works really well. My glucose test didn't even hint to me being so much as pre-diabetic.

I was GD, got my flushot too
now diabetec-
is trichromium a separate supplement.

I've added 1/2 tsp cinnamom everyday and the numbers are 20% down like jordan rubin said

It's actually a supplement from NOW Foods. Three forms of chromium as well as cinnamon. I had read a lot about both chromium and cinnamon and was excited when I found this supplement. To my surprise, it really did work.
