We do NOT do artificial color. I stay away from it as much as i possibly can. Aswell as preservatives too.

I suffer/suffered from ADHD,depression, bed wetting, nail biting, sensory issues myself , and was given all kinds of medications so i wont let that happen to my dd......so we watch everything that goes into her little system. I have been a bit relaxed, and letting her have french fries, and lunch meats, and turkey dogs, and i just need to stop and get back on the bandwagon. But sometimes i convince myself that i am being crazy and over reactive and that im restricting dd diet for nothing, especially when my mom, or sister think i am doing more harm than good by not letting her eat candy or punch. I just need to stick to my guns.....

Pat
Thanks for all of yalls help!

I would see a classical homeopath. Are you familiar with it?

What are your concerns about chiropractory?

Hello yeast and/or food intolerances!! My DS had bedwetting from dairy, I had anxiety from either gluten, soy, or milk since when I went off all three of them, all my anxiety went away. ADHD is thought to be some as part of the autism spectrum, which can be improved by a GFCF diet or the Failsafe Diet. I'd be working on yourself as well.... And I know you're probably going to say that it's too much. BUT what you have right now is too much, so if you can clear them both up at the same time (both of you healing) then you'd be so much better off.

Have you read the CSS thread? It doesn't sound like you had a c-section, but the rest of the stuff fits with the yeast and food intolerances and all that. It's a long thread, but worth the read... and maybe you could all get fixed (my IBS went away when I went off soy; apparently alot of IBS is from food intolerances, ALCAT [food intolerance testers] did a study).

I don't know how to link to another thread. Sorry. It's right at the top right now though "My research: CSS (C-section Syndrome) causing allergies"

For homeopathy, you want a classical homeopath. We initially started seeing her for dh's allergies and asthma. Short version is he was on breathing medication every four hours, now he doesn't have asthma and his allergies are basically gone.

For ds, he had a lot of food intolerances, and we'd done elimination diets for two years. Now he eats about anything, except Red #40. Enough dairy and he'll get sensory seeking. But, we use raw dairy and he is fine. We watch the salicylates and wheat. But, I/we were eating few foods before homeopathy.

I too am on classical homeopathy and we just never get sick. Ds was sick 10 of 14 weeks his first winter. So, was I. Even took antibiotics myself when he was 6 months. This story is getting long. Anyway, homeopathy heals.

Regarding chiropractory, when I was in nursing school, many years ago, we were taught that chiropractory was quackary. Dh saw two neurosurgeons for bulging discs in his C6 and C7 vertebrae. They wanted to do neck surgery. Dh agreed to see the chiro, who resolved the bulging discs and SEVERE pain (sleeping med, pain med, and muscle relaxants). Now, he does neck exercises and sees the chiro about every couple months for a check up. Better than surgery, anyday. And no more meds.

Pat, I believe what I see with my own eyes.
