... GIRL was born Monday, December 8, 2008 ... our 3rd unassisted water birth ... she was born with both hands/arms on her head/face and the cord around her neck but amazingly and because God is SO good ... I didn't tear, but MAN am I sore and feeling bruised and battered on my bottom. OUCH!

Rylie Noelle - 9lbs 2oz and 20 1/2 inches long ... a sweet baby with a great appetite and she's taken to nursing like a real champ. Sorry it took so long to update ... my laptop started being nutty today so I couldn't get back to the forum until this evening!

I added some pics to my page on myspace so you should be able to follow the link in my sig to see them.

Congratulations, relax and enjoy your babymoon! Glad she's nursing like a champ! I remember the bottom pain...ouch. DS came out posterior and that's predominately what I felt after his birth (no tears either) but BOY was I sore!

Thanks everyone! I can't believe she is really here ... seems there is always so much build up to that labor and birth and the next thing ya know, you are on the other side!

She's a week old now and still as precious as ever. She is definitely worth all the hard work getting her into this world. I wouldn't have been able to do it without The Lord ... He was my strength throughout the entire labor and birth when things were getting really intense.

I'm feeling much better physically, although I end up doing way too much (lifting, sweeping the floor, etc) and end up bleeding again so I'm going to try to be mindful to take it easy ... it's just hard with 5 other kids and DH back to work the day after the birth.

For those of you still waiting on your little ones, I'm praying for all of you ...

and for those who are holding your babies in your arms ... I'm rejoicing with you.
