'realistic' boy dolls

So in my christmas shopping (and reading the article in the last mothering about little boys and dolls) I decided to get wee man a doll for Christmas. I have picked out one of the inexpensive Waldorf dolls on Oompa.com and he is built like a little boy (if little boys were made of cloth I guess).

In telling a friend of mine about this she said she was given a 'baby alive' boy doll that is apparently realistic and even pees. bizarre!

So I can't help but wonder about the details. Surely there isn't enough to tell if Baby Alive has become baby cosmetically altered for no darn good reason!?

I think baby alive only comes in a female version. There is simply a hole that allows water to exit. They are not anatomically correct.

ETA: They do have a boy version! I seriously doubt he is correct either..I would guess he has a hole just like the female version.

I had a twin boy and girl dolls when I was little that had all the parts. I think the boy was intact but I can't be certain.
