Bumpy/raised stretch marks?

I started itching the other day and have been using tons of stuff to calm it down. I've noticed that some of them are raised right where I've been itching. Then DH looked at it and said "well it's doing the same thing over here"....complete opposite side where I HAVE NOT been itching. It's where the belly bump meets the hairline...I have a pimple or something down there too. I haven't changed anything, I don't usually wear my panties/pants or anything for that matter, right where it's itching. So it's not rubbing against anything. Maybe I'm just stretching more? I'm going to call MW tomorrow and see what she thinks. And I did get some new SM's in the last few days on my right side...egads.

Are you momma's with SM's doing the same thing?

I remember getting something like that last time, after my birth, with my stretchmarks...I don't remember really treating it with anything, it just went away on it's own. I think I might have used powder to keep the area dry and cool.

Oooh. Watch that. That is how my PUPPPs rash started. It really really sucks. I'd recommend starting on Danelion Root and flax. Here's hoping it's not PUPPPs. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Oh that's fun. I looked up on PUPPPS and none of those rashes looked like mine. But, you never know. It's not as itchy as I've heard other people complain about though. I wonder if I could live with it, if that's what I have, until he comes out...hmmm. I'm going to have to live with it, bc I'm tired of buying crap that doesn't work to relieve it.$$$$$$$$$$$ I've heard the only way to cure it is to have the baby. It's weird how it's mainly INSIDE my stretch marks...not that much on the part of skin that's not stretched out...

Any chance it may be yeast? Only wondering as it sounds like it may be sort of by a fold of skin?

No, bc it doesn't fold over, it doesn't touch any other part of skin. Not even when I lean over forward. (I just tried, lol, and it doesn't touch at all)

I have to wait until after 8:30 this morning bc MW won't be there until then. It's not horribly miserable, I just want to make sure that it's not something harmful that needs to be treated ASAP.

Man, if it's not one thing, it's another! Just a few more weeks and I won't have to worry about pg problems...I'll be worried about OTHER problems! Engorgement, stretchy tummy, PERIODS(egads), after pains(egads X 2)..list goes on, BUT AT LEAST I'LL HAVE MY BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LMBO!

See, it's always something! Seeing that I'm one who doesn't have my due date for a couple more weeks I'm just trying to make it through the end of pregnancy and prepare for the birth.

I know there comes a point I'm going to have to start re-reading my breastfeeding stuff as a refresher.... Just hopefully since this is my fourth I just remember everything I did before!

That's how my PUPPPS started! It's horrible! I started using a natural cream and soap from Rainier Soap Works called PUPPP Relief. It's awesome!!!! My skin cleared within 2 days of using it and my stretch marks are no longer raised. My rash started in the stretch marks and spread to my upper back, shoulders, my groin area, down my legs and arms, and my hands and feet. I was totally miserable. I also used Sarna anti-itch lotion and pine tar soap in the beginning before my PUPPP Relief came in. Those work pretty good too except the Sarna has a cooling function for the skin that leaves you feeling cold and the smell isn't quite right. The PUPPP Relief smells like spearmint (one of my favorite smells ), and it goes on smooth and doesn't dry out the skin. You can find it at www.RainierSoapWorks.com. The cream is a bit pricey, but totally worth not feeling like I need to rip my skin off. I hope this gets better for you...

I was thinking the same thing when it started too. I thought that maybe it was something I was eating and then my friend who had it looked at my skin and said, "Sorry, you have PUPPPs rash." Then I got to business with researching it and how I could live with it or get rid of it. My is gone, but I still have spots that are itchy, though not in that insane way that I used to have that would spread all over my body. My skin is still discolored where the rash was, but it will go away as per my friend and my midwife. I'd rather have that than the crazy itchies.

Called MW told her that I had a rash, explained it to her and she said it doesn't sound like PUPPPS, especially if I'm not miserably scratching it. Told me to get a cream called Sarna...I think that's what it's called, I forget. lol

Then I told her that I was a *little* concerned bc Evan isn't moving as much, that it takes about 30 minutes or so to get him to move. SHe said as long as I get him to move 10 times in at least 2 hours then he's more than likely fine...there's just no room in there. WELL TELL HIM THAT HE CAN COME OUT, THERE'S MORE ROOM OUT HERE! PLUS FOOD!!!!!!

Thank you ladies for your advice!
