Hi everyone! Took the test today for fun (I really thought it would be neat to surprise DH with a gift-wrapped positive in his stocking this morning since we are with his whole family) but it was BFN. No surprise at 8-9dpo though LOL. I had all the willpower to wait til the weekend but just couldn't resist the idea of a stocking stuffer! Still spotting, though the amount has not increased. Everything from brown to pink to red, but mostly not much of anything. Last month I spotted for 3 days but got light flow by the 3rd night, so we'll see what happens. No sign of an increase yet. And it's still really early for me to have af, I usually have an 11 day luteal, 12 last month, and spot for the last 1-2 days. So starting at day 6-7 really is odd. Got my fingers crossed though! My SIL is 32 weeks pg right now and feeling her little babymove around in her belly and have hiccups in there brought back so many warm memories....plus she is wearing all my maternity stuff LOL.

Hey Letia, try a different tuner on FF...I would think you O'ed on Monday too, even though your OPK's seem unclear...maybe you misread them?

ETA Oh yeah, my temp dipped a bit today (still well above coverline)..of course won't know if that is anything til at least tomorrow....

Did you test today? Or is that a previous test you're referring to? : Hmmmmm....I'm not sure *when you should testagain.....FF says 14 dpo or more, and you are today.... Maybe 16dpo? How long is your lp usually? Temps are still up...sounds promising!

Hey everyone,
Merry Christmas!!!!!
Heveasoul, boob pain is is worse today and they are pretty ugly with blue veins showing everywhere--which is a good sign so dh says they are beautiful :LOL
At my moms tonight we were playing cards and I had to go take off my bra because it felt too small but after that they really hurt, basically I'm really uncomfortable but I'm looking at it as a good sign.
How was everyone's Christmas?? My mom cleaned up, she has had a tough year of treatment for a particularily nasty form of breast cancer so she got spoiled rotten which was good, she's handled things sooo well.
Steve also did very well and between him and my little brother they received every tool/toy they could possibly need and were already working out trades for specific projects.
I also did well, I actually received both things that I wanted most, a remote car starter for those cold winter mornings and a bed warmer for those cold winter nights (since my human bed warmer works nights:LOL )

Hey, Hey! I'm sitting here thinking about cajun kraut for the *second time in 12 hours! I want some *right now!

Sorry Amy, no Christmas . Maybe you should wait until 14dpo. I *know.....

I have the free basic right now. Do I need to get a VIP for that? I was looking around, and I'm still: about that. I think CM say the later date too. I think sticky is starting to form. I looked at the first OPK twice, b/c I had gotten 4 -- previously! : Unless I Oed *twice!

Uhhhhhh Shannon what dpo? POAS!!!! When I was pg with Jordan, it *hurt to put on a *bra! Sounds promising! It might be a tie between you and laurata!

T We went to mamas and I helped her get things moving along in the kitchen. We ate much later; but, she had a *lot to do! Mama gave me a juicer!!!!! We just sat around, I was exhausted, I wanted to take a nap before I went; but, oh well... It was a good Christmas--despite mil! : OH! My bil called before we went to mama'sstationed in Korea!!! He's coming home in a *few week! He'll be stationed in GA and we can visit him and my sister at the same time! It was 3 am post Christmas, on which he had duty. Thats the latest with me! Temp was nice and high this am! I guess depending on what you believe, and I'm thinking I'm only 4dpo, which would make me only 9 on New Years Eve. I really wanted to sping a NYE on him, its kinda early for any temp drops. Last cycle was a 17 day lp!

Wow, Shannon, that sounds very encouraging! When will you test? congrats on the Christmas goodies!

Yay, Letia, glad to hear you had a great celebration, too! Not that this will be as yummy, but do you take ACV? A bit in some water might satisfy your sour craving!

I'm at 9 DPO and my temp was reeeally low today. No AF (and 9 DPO would be way too early for that - I hope!). I'm getting over a cold, and all this cycle, have had irregular waking times, so I'm trying not to read too much into it. Individual days shouldn't be scrutinized, I'm trying to tell myself...!

As I said, my cold does seem to be going away...well, the nose-blowing is down to once every 10 min as opposed to every 30 seconds, and last night I only woke up once at 1 am, then slept until 7, yay!

Sad that I can't scoop up/cuddle a visiting 16-month nephew who we only see about 3 times/year They're over at the ILs, which is where I should be headed, so bye for now!

So I'm really liking hearing so many people with some strong pg signs!!! Can't wait to see more BFP's announced!

Day 10 (or 9?) post O here for me, and still spotting. Never ever have I spotted for 4 days!! And it actually seems to be getting lighter. Trying not to get my hopes up though. My temps for today and yesterday aren't that reliable since the house was COLD here in GA (not like down in FL LOL!!) and I was a little stuffed so breathing the cold air through my mouth I am pretty sure skewed those a bit. No other signs for me but spotting. Just thought I'd check in and keep y'all updated, I know I love reading everyone else's updates, it's like our own private soap opera LOL. I definitely won't test again til at least Sunday when AF is due. I may even wait longer, but I'd like to test before DH gets underway and I go to my parents' for a few days so I can tell them in person! But a New Year's surprise would be good too. Oh, girls...it pains me to type this...but I lost the baby on Christmas Eve....I had to tell dh by un-telling him. It started with spotting and went to full blown cramps and heavy flow that night. I'm pretty much done with the actual miscarriage (I think) so now I am heading back to Pre-O with a heavy heart.

This is the second early loss in 3 months I have had...I am thinking about going to an RE to check my progesterone levels and figure out if I can prevent one in the future.

Good luck to all of you still in the Wait, and sorry to be a downer in the Obnoxiously Positive thread.

I replied to you in pre-O as I've been straddling the fence; but, I think that going to see someone is a good move, particluarly since it is the second. : I think that's when they start to take your seriously.

Shhhhh.....I am not due till New Years, I don't know why I tested today, not even with FMU.....but....

:LOL I'll do it for you! That gives *me hope! I'll be 9dpo NYE! *praying that I'll be able to see one then! Its early! When will you test again? I am *acutally considering donating in order to find out by then! I used a Mamas Favorites before when I thought I saw a faint line, : and now only use FRERs, so maybe there won't be such a discrency! I'm sooooooooo excited for you!

Katie, I'm soo sorry, we're thinking about you. How are you coping?
Hevasoul and Letia, I'm only 6dpo, which is about when I had the super sore boobs last time too--course I don't know for sure because we were not trying, I just remember thinking it was way too early for PMS and much more sore than I had had before. I remember feeling around for a cyst or something because of how uncomfortable I was.
My plan was to test on Jan 3, which is when I would be due, but I likely will break down and test on New Years eve. We have to go to a wedding on New Years so if I'd like to know if drinking is an issue: I figure if I use a FRER it's supposed to detect 4 days before your period is due, so who knows, maybe, I'd only be having a glass of wine with dinner anyway, I already promised DH I would be DD.

Laurata, when are you testing again?? it's been 2 days now!

OK mamas and mamas to be,

I am on cd 24 and about 10 dpo. At least that's what I think : I had O pains on cd 14 and 15 - is having them on 2 days strange? Then on cd 21, which would be about 7 dpo I get this crazy rush of hormones...wicked sore boobs even some cramping.That lasted 2 days and now it's gone.AF is due NYE.What do you think that is all about?

I know the obvious is implantation stuff but I seem to have experienced something similar in my second cycle pp.Is it possible to experience some changes like this when the egg drops down into the uterine lining unfertilized too?The unfertilized egg signals the shedding of the lining but is there some hormonal shift that takes place that can cause these type of syptoms?

I mean I'd like to obsess about pgcy since this is my last cycle of possibilty so we'll see.But I have this nagging little voice that's telling me I'm not pg.After this cycle we are done ttc for right now,but if I'm pg I will be overjoyed.

They always say when you stop trying is when it happens...Hmmmmmm

And, Caroline!!!! Congratulations!!!I hope it all works out for you!! Sending you some good pregnancy vibes!
Anyone else, I missed since I am sort of new at this and trying to get used to it, I hope everyone gets BFPs this month
As for me, I started charting with FF and it looks as if I o'd on cd18 which is very late for me. If I wasn't charting myself, I really would have thought I was out this month. Then, I took an OPK on cd17 which was positive so we got in some bd'g that day. I actually took one later that evening which was STILL positive. Early morning on cd 18, I felt mittelschmerz!!! I was so excited, I couldn't wait for dh to wake up!! So, here I am with 3 days of temps being higher and I am feeling somewhat hopeful this month. Time will tell!!
